All About Todd

Who is Todd? He’s a 7 year old Sheppard/Norwegian Elk Hound mix. We got him from the Animal Refuge League in Portland, ME.

It’s been a few months since we lost Boston and Julia, and the house just hasn’t been the same (it’s been clean, it doesn’t smell like dogs, etc, etc).

I was a little hesitant about getting another dog so soon after losing our other two, but Jean was persistent. Todd was at a kennel a couple of miles from where I’m going to school, and it only took one visit for me to be hooked. I visited him a couple of times to be sure he’d be the right one, but from the first visit it was over.

We think it’s so funny that the dog’s name is Todd… we always talked about getting a dog with a human name, and we’ve got him! He’s really cool.

So now our house is back to being covered in dog hair, dog blankets are everywhere, and the familiar sound of licking is back in our lives.
